Fr. Steve Holton has been at St. Paul's since 1992. He is married, with two boys in the Ossining School System. He values prayer, leadership in worship, preaching a gospel that reaches out and includes all people in the enormous diversity of God's love, and pastoral care to those in need or trouble. He enjoys working with the larger community, helping others make our towns hospitable places for rich and poor, young and old alike. His parish concerns and desires are reflected throughout this website, in worship and Bible Study and shared leadership with the deep array of lay talent St. Paul's is blessed to have. He traveled to Afghanistan in 2002 to inspect a mosque bombed by coalition forces, and to meet and learn about the people of Afghanistan, on a trip sponsored by the Diocese of New York. He returned in 2003 to rededicate the new mosque, rebuilt with money from the Muslims, Jews and Christians of New York. |
